I decided this week that I’m going to take the SHRM-CP test this winter. It seems like the industry standard certification for the Human Resources world and what better time than the present to get started. I’ve read over the SHRM Bask and have begun working through a study program. There is nothing I can think of that makes me feel less confident in my abilities than studying for an exam, especially in the beginning. Trying to figure out the language of the test, the vocabulary they will use, and decoding questions is always off-putting. As I have continued to work with the program, my confidence is coming back though. I have a long time to study, so I’m sure my confidence will come and go over the coming months.
