Presentation in Notion
Problem: Teachers in our school district do not understand the power of ChatGPT for use in the public school classroom.
Solution: We presented a hands on lesson that had teachers create a ChatGPT account, interact with it, and use it to help summarize their learning for future use. Evaluation: While the presentation could have been a little more seamless, the feedback we received was that teachers felt more at ease with ChatGPT. Because it was a small number of teachers, we began working on how to scale this training up to meet the needs of all of our campuses.ILT/VLT Resource
Problem: Employees were clicking on phishing scam emails even though increased email filtering was put in place.
Solution: By creating a brief, engaging training including a trainer guide as well as participant materials, employees were able to better understand the signs of scam emails and notify the correct people once it was identified.
Evaluation: The training was successful in terms of teachers assessment numbers. We were unable to get the Technology Department to give us any data on number of phishing scams clicked on before or after the training, so we were unable to fully evaluate the effects of the training.e-Learning Using Captivate
Problem: Teachers are having problems remembering what features are used for what on their new Promethean Boards installed in their classrooms.
Solution: An online review game was created to allow teachers to be able to review features and feel confident making correct choices on the fly in real world scenarios.
Evaluation: The game was fun enough to hold the teacher's attention and made teachers feel more comfortable with their new Promethean Panels. The main feedback on the program is that it would be nice if the aesthetics of the game better mirrored what a Promethean Panel actually looked like.

Problem: The University of North Texas needed a video to show off what the CLEAR team can do for the teachers of their campus.
Solution: A short video was created to show the services offered and how to contact the CLEAR team should staff need their help.
Evaluation: After collecting feedback on the prototype, we realized that our approach needed improvement. Faculty was not swayed by the use of the Mission Statement, so we needed to rethink what would motivate faculty to utilize the CLEAR Team.Presentation Slidedeck
Problem: Esports is a new offering in most public schools and new leaders are looking for new ways to meet the needs of their students.
Solution: Our program shared with others what we do to inject creativity and growth mindset into our esports club.
Evaluation: We had an excellent back and forth discussion at the end of the presentation with esports sponsors from around the state of Texas. In future presentations I would like to include more student voices to provide their feedback as well.Job Aides
Problem: Teachers on our campus are misunderstanding the role of the Digital Learning Specialist as well as other technology staff.
Solution: I created the following Job Aides that were available and printable by various staff and faculty to remind which position helps with what technology issues. Evaluation: The aides were utilized and as effective as can be expected for middle school children and faculty. Some were utilized as a prototype for district created aides for clarity at all campuses.
